Robyn graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at Michigan State University in 2010. She spent six years working with at risk youth and adults in the community mental health sector prior to pursing her graduate education in 2016. Her experience spans from working in residential treatment, outpatient, substance use disorder treatment and crisis intervention. Robyn completed her internships working in substance use disorder treatment for women in both residential and intensive outpatient settings. In 2018, Robyn completed her Masters of Arts degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the University of Arizona. Robyn is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and is a Licensed Associate Counselor with AZBBHE. By using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Robyn helps clients gain stability by learning new coping skills and behaviors that address anxiety, depression, disordered eating and grief symptoms.Robyn is also an EMDR trained therapist who is completing ongoing training in using EMDR with Structural Dissociation Theory to treat trauma, complex trauma, and dissociation.
