From there, she completed her Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Louisville, which then allowed Kendall to practice therapy in an acute inpatient hospital setting, individual and group therapy settings, intensive outpatient settings, as well as provide statewide implementation support to substance use treatment facilities acrossKentucky. Kendall moved to Arizona in 2022 to pursue independent licensure.
Kendall embraces the holistic nature of healing, understanding that trauma manifests in one’s mind, body, emotion, energy, and spirit. Each person’s healing is as unique as their journey, so she uses a person-centered, holistic, and integrative approach to walk with clients through their journey of self-discovery and growth using a combination of evidence based therapeutic modalities to treat trauma including: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) found in Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and a Structural Dissociation framework. Kendall works with a wide variety of clients experiencing symptoms of trauma, dissociation, grief, loss, death, substance use, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and identity challenges. Kendall embodies the belief that every person is capable and worthy of reaching their optimal growth and healing.
